My family life

First written in Jan 2006

Ever since my website was created in 1999, there has been no page on my family life though there have been many other pages on Bio, Interests, Friends etc. The reason is not that I willingly avoided to write about my family life BUT, I have never felt any urge to write, that is why there was nothing on it.

But now I suddenly came to realize that it looks odd not to have a page on my family as I have described the most personal details in this website. So I decide to write something on it.

My father - ahh... I would not like to write much about him. My mother is a soft hearted, naive lady - very religious. She has often taught Bengali literature in colleges.

Whatever I have gained, I gained for my own ability and effort only. However, behind all these indirectly my mother's role was there. Because she gives me a complete freedom to do simply anything, which allows me to take my own, unusual, often strange and risky looking approach of doing things. Jyotish, mantras and all other things from where I have success - they would not really ever materialize under parents who do not give enough freedom. My mother also always provides me the maximum financial and whatever other kind of support she can provide. On the contrary I do not get, or refuse to take any support from my father.

Since mid 2002 I have been living independently. First sharing a small house with a brother-sisters' family, now I live completely separate in my two bed - drawing dining house, all mine. This is my own territory where I am the king, where I am The GOD.

Surprisingly, I truly do not miss having a family of parents. God knows, why! One reason is that, I am very objective and unbiased. I like a person for his quality and not for my relationship with him or her like having him or her as the father or mother etc. Even most people here have families of parents, very few people have good parents who truly mean 'support' in emotional and friendly way as well as provider of good guidance and advices. That is why, it becomes all the same (to me).

Going office !

Home - Sweet Home

Even after living totally alone at the home I never feel lonely - this is because a major part of the day I am out at my office, at university, or hanging out with friends so when I come back to my home I am tired and rest. My home is an excellent and the best place for me to offer me relaxation, peace and the best environment to concentrate into work in and also for the mild spiritual practices I do. If at home I am not tired then I am watching TV, surfing the net, chatting online, or doing something interesting. I want my home to be equipped with all standard facilities an ideal home should have - that is everything I need for my work and comfort. TV cable connection, computer with 24 hours non stop high speed internet connectivity, split AC, refrigerator, microwave oven, fully featured cooking system, etc. and also on the way of taking land phone line, geyser, washing machine etc. one after another.
